Maryland Farm Tours offers a fun opportunity to connect with the land, farmers and agriculture that make our state truly special. Here’s why you won’t want to miss it:
Self-Guided Exploration: Design your route and visit the farms that interest you most, all at your own pace.
Free Entry: Admission is completely free for all visitors. Some farms may have extra activities at an additional cost.
Meet Local Farmers: Learn directly from Maryland’s hardworking farmers about their daily operations and the dedication behind locally grown food and fiber.

See how we build a simple and effective vertical garden; how we use containers to grow lots of food, specialty crops — bitter leaf, bitter melon, which are all medicinal vegetables.

Fox Hollow Farm Market
Visit our viewing areas to see some of our pastured animals. Hereford Beef, Berkshire Pigs, Southdown Sheep, Boer Goats & Buff Orpington Hens. Buy our farm-raised USDA meats and eggs directly from our onsite farm market. If you’re looking for lunch, we will be selling our very own farm-produced sausages. Types of grilled sausages available for sale will be: Beef, Pork & Lamb. Don’t miss out, we only do one open house a year. Lunch Hours: 11AM to 1PM. Merry Bees Flower Farm
Visitors will learn about the workings of an agri-tourism flower farm, including the logistics of planting, harvesting, and hosting events. Participants may experiment with flower pounding on paper in order to make a bookmark.

The Farmyard
The Farmyard will be open for free on October 4th. Visitors are welcome to explore the facility, visit the animals, and enjoy the playground during this time. There will be several paid opportunities available including pony rides, an animal tour, and potentially a craft. These will be scheduled and visitors can purchase tickets at the Snowball Stand or ahead of time online. The Snowball Stand will also be open for an additional charge.

Brown Cow Creamery
In our roadside store, we offer ice cream made on the farm, raw milk cheeses, meats (beef, pork and lamb), eggs, produce and local products. We will also have farm animals to visit and several informational tables.
