Join us for Maryland Farm Tours, where participating farmers across the state open their farms and welcome the community to explore, learn and celebrate Maryland's rich agricultural heritage.

Maryland Farm Tours offers a fun opportunity to connect with the land, farmers and agriculture that make our state truly special. Here’s why you won’t want to miss it:
Self-Guided Exploration: Design your route and visit the farms that interest you most, all at your own pace.
Free Entry: Admission is completely free for all visitors. Some farms may have extra activities at an additional cost.
Meet Local Farmers: Learn directly from Maryland’s hardworking farmers about their daily operations and the dedication behind locally grown food and fiber.

Asawana Farms
Asawana Farms offers a hands-on Food as Medicine experience focused on moringa and bitter leaf. Visitors learn how to plant and grow these specialty crops, tour the farm, taste them fresh from the field, and explore their cultural significance and wellness value in African and Afro-Caribbean food traditions.

Brown Cow Creamery
Visit the farm for ice cream made from the milk of our own grassfed cows. We also offer many other products straight from the farm, including milk, meat, eggs and cheese. Visit the animals, learn about the farm and meet your farmers. We are the only dairy cow farm left in the county, and we welcome you to learn more about us.

Admission to The Farmyard is free, with optional on-site activities including guided animal tours, pony rides and educational hayrides. Stories and Snowballs features a craft, treat and story time that connect children to farming, nature and the environment. White House Nursery

Withers Wool Farm
Guided tour and discussion of the Angora Goats and Merino Sheep. (And the peafowl.) Demonstrations of how we process the fiber on site to make yarn: skirting, picking, carding and spinning. Also will show how we make felted products from the wool/mohair.
